SCUF + 2

SCUF Gaming has added two new controllers to their line up. SCUFIMPACT and the SCUF INFINITY 4PS PRO.

The idea behind the 2 new controller lines is an upgrade to the internal parts of the new PS4 controllers, giving the external components more accurate and faster response times.

First we took a look at the new Infinity 4PS Pro line. The PRO line has all of the things that we have come to love about SCUF. Including the military grade grip, easily changeable thumb sticks using the Infinity Ring and Lock System, magnetic remapping technology and the SCUF Trigger Systems. What didn’t we mention?

The SCUF paddle system. The new PRO paddle system has been completely updated from the standard paddles. The new paddles are recessed into the back of the controller body, they have upgraded the switch and circuit board hardware and the paddles are now removable!

I am now very jealous that I was not aware of this incoming product seeing as I just bought my SCUF.

This next one I am not so sure about. Having never been a fan of the XBox style of controller. But like I always say to my kids, “be sure to try everything once, and then second time just in case!”

So I will get my hands on the other new line, the SCUFIMPACT before passing judgement!

The biggest difference between the two new lines, as you can see, is the design of the controller itself. The more robust design of the IMPACT also allows for a 4 paddle system on the back.

RPG at PAX South

RPG was lucky enough to have a friend on the floor at PAX South this past weekend.

Here are a few images that he was able to share with us…

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

As you can see there was a big focus on the Overwatch tournament. Twitch had it’s Partner booth there, which was crazy busy as per usual and the crowds were looking good!

One of the biggest attractions on the floor this year was the Nintendo Switch (of course). There was over a 2 hour wait to get the hands on experience so he settled for a few close encounters instead.

Lots of great stuff to come out of Pax South, keep an eye out for continuing news and our coverage of Pax East!
