Today Square Enix released the date of September 7th for a historic performance of the Final Fantasy XV soundtrack at the iconic Abbey Road Studios. The performance will feature the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the world-famous composer Yoko Shimomurra (Kingdom Hearts, Street Fighter) will also be making an appearance.

The concert will be approximately an hour-long with commentary from Shimomurra. Not only will they be performing music from the Final Fantasy XV soundtrack, but they will also be performing never before heard music from the game.

The concert will be broadcast live, worldwide from the iconic Studio One via the FINAL FANTASY XV YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/finalfantasyxv), and the Square Enix Twitch channel (https://www.twitch.tv/squareenix) from 11:00 a.m. Pacific on Wednesday, September 7th. The full concert will also be uploaded to YouTube straight after the show for those unable to tune-in during the live show.

FINAL FANTASY XV will be available November 29th, 2016 for Xbox One and the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system. This game is rated T (Teen). Please visit the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) website at www.esrb.org for more information about ratings.

About the London Philharmonic Orchestra

One of the finest orchestras on the international stage, the London Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1932 by Sir Thomas Beecham. Since then, its Principal Conductors have included Sir Adrian Boult, Bernard Haitink, Sir Georg Solti, Klaus Tennstedt and Kurt Masur. In 2007 Vladimir Jurowski became the Orchestra’s current Principal Conductor.

The London Philharmonic Orchestra has been performing at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall since it opened in 1951, becoming Resident Orchestra in 1992. It also has residencies in Brighton and Eastbourne, and performs regularly around the UK.
