Dues Ex Opinion
So I had been searching through my friends list for a review of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. I have personally invested too much into gaming this past month to justify buying a game that I would likely never play but only to make a review of it. That’s not to say that the game wouldn’t impress me, just that I have my attention elsewhere in the gaming world right now.
This is not a true review of the game but the opinion of one player. I felt it was heartfelt and honest enough to share with you.
Here is a Dues Ex Opinion, from the words of PlatinumDice07…
It’s a well-built game in the sense that its controls are well done, and game play has been enhanced from the last game.
There are generally more options to tackle a problem, and the game gives you just enough kits to unlock the stuff to do most of it well.
Personally, I found the new mods to be super cool, but generally not worth spending kits on until my core augs were upgraded. Except for Remote Hacking, which I wondered why it wasn’t available to start, and once I had it I used all the bloody time. The new augs are mostly just new ways to kill or stun shit.
I went mostly non-lethal and heavy stealth until some assholes decided to jump into some electrified water and kill themselves, just as the game auto saved. Story wise its way to short and I found that I had a hard time keeping track of what the quest tracker was pointing me towards, most of the time though there is enough info to figure it out.
Side quests were fun, and interactions with co workers were well done as well. I just felt like I didn’t give a shit about any of them.
In the first game I became really attached to Malak, the pilot. And I STRUGGLED to keep her alive. When I failed for the 100th time and moved on I was sad.
When I found her corpse being defiled later with NO EXPLANATION OR ANYTHING I COULD DO ABOUT IT, I flew into a very lethal rage and murdered everyone in that hole.
Lastly I was upset that I couldn’t have my previous game affect anything in this game. You couldn’t give me a list of questions? The games about choices! Let me choice for crying out loud.
Also there is a transition area in the city where you hop on a train. Its pretty cool at first where you get divided into an aug section and if you get in the natural side you get question by the asshole cops once you stop. Its cool and immersive at first but then a lot of side missions have you jumping back and forth it gets pretty annoying quickly.

The city isn’t really that big. Why can’t it be one big city? If you want the train why not just make it a fast travel? Why is there only one merchant in the whole bloody city who buys my garbage but like 50 merchant tags on the map and they ALL JUST SELL BEER I DONT WANT TO GET DRUNK WHY IS EVERYONE SHITFACED
