It’s official: Private Matches are now available to all Destiny players on current-gen consoles (PS4 and XB1) in advance of next Tuesday’s launch of Rise of Iron. (If you’re on now, log off and log back on to jump into the action.)

Announced during the first-ever Destiny Private Match competition hosted by Major League Gaming, and in celebration of the upcoming launch of Destiny: Rise of Iron, the new ‘Private Match’ feature is available now for Destiny owners on current-gen consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The Private Match feature gives Destiny players the keys to the Crucible with the ability to challenge friends and foes alike in 18 competitive modes on almost 30 maps.
