New Releases Coming this Friday to a theater near you!

I know it’s a day late, but I had to wait until I got to see Suicide Squad so that I could give my 2 cents worth.

I am not a huge comic book fan, we leave that department to Nate (Shadowhak), so I went into this movie with no expectations at all. I have to say that we thoroughly enjoyed it. The whole family went, my only complaint would be that the PG-13 rating was a bit stretching it at times. Harley Quinn’s character alone is enough to raise the rating in my opinion.

They did do a great job of establishing the characters and the action scenes were pretty good too. Will Smith plays an excellent Dead Shot and I personally think that Jared Leto nailed the darker side of the Joker.

This coming week is a bit light. If you are in to remakes, Ben Hur is making a come back, not in my wheelhouse but I am sure some will enjoy it. Final Fantasy XV is coming out (how are they still making these) and a movie about the Internet and the connected world. I hope you find something to enjoy over the weekend.

Let us know what you decided to see this week!

Enjoy New Releases Aug 19!
