DropZone is a real time strategy style game, [RTS], that has eliminated the need to play for hours on end. Each DZ match is a mere 15 minutes long, and offers you 3 units for attack. They do have gathering units, however resource gathering is purely for points. Additionally you do not obtain XP for player kills. Strait PVP style attacks do happen regardless, but, again, you are not rewarded for it.
The President of Sparkypants Studios, Jason, was there representing for DropZone, and was kind enough to coach our RPG Rep, Matt, through a match. Commands were easy to get the hang of, however upgrades happen on the fly and, as a new player, may take time getting used to while gathering at the same time. Each unit has lots of customization options, along with easy load-out changes and save themes.
Just 3 weeks into development they had a working copy with teams actively playing the game daily so adjustments could be made as needed by the dev team. Over all DropZone is fun with out the added burden of time dedication. Learn more at their website: https://en.dropzone.gameforge.com/
