Xur is visiting some old friends!
Xur has decided to seek refuge in the reef this week. While hiding among the Awoken he is bringing us gifts for an early Xurmas. With the Ruin Wings, Skyburner’s Annex, The Goat… I mean Stag and the Telesto in tow he tries to make our disappointment less painful.
The exotic perk on the is called the Seed of Ruin (Heavy ammo drops more often and contains more ammo in each drop.). You then get a choice of either Increased Discipline or Increased Strength. The middle perk tree provides the option of Paramuscle Armature (Increased grenade throw distance.) or Impact Induction (Bonus grenade energy on melee hits.). The final two perks are Hand Cannon Loader (Increase the reload speed of Hand Cannons.) and Machine Gun loader (Increase the reload speed of Machine Guns.).
The exotic perk for this helmet is called Versatile Shooter (Heavy Weapon kills have a chance to create Orbs. Orbs collected when your Super is full have a chance to grant Special ammo.) The choice from Increase Intellect or Increase Discipline is in the first tree. Second tree holds the choice from Ashes to Assets (Gain bonus Super energy on Grenade kills.) or Heavy Lifting (Gain bonus Super energy from Heavy Weapon kills on minions of the Darkness.). Finally you get Invigoration (Gain bonus melee energy on Orb pickups.).
The exotic perk for the Stag is called Doe or Die (Once per life, your Super charges faster when your teammates are dead. Chance to respawn with an overshield.). Then there is a choice from Increase Discipline or Increase Strength. The first perk tree provides you with a choice from Ashes to Assets (Gain bonus Super energy on Grenade kills.) or Heavy Lifting (Gain bonus Super energy from Heavy Weapon kills on minions of the Darkness.) and the last perk is called Better Already (Shields start recovery immediately after Orb pickup.).
The exotic perk for this weapon is called Unplanned Reprieve (Fusion projectiles attach and detonate with a delayed Void blast.). Your barrel choices are Smart Drift Control (Predictable and controllable recoil. Penalty to range.), CQB Ballistics (Greatly reduced recoil. Significant penalty to range.) and Smooth Ballistics (Increased recoil. Boost to range.). Battle Runner (Kills with this weapon grant a brief boost to the sprint’s top speed.) occupies the second perk tree. Third perk tree provides a choice from three options, Lightweight (When held, this weapon grants +2 character Agility.), Enhanced Battery (Increases magazine size.), Flared Magwell (Reload this weapon even faster.). The final perk is called Harbringer’s Spark (Multikills with this weapon spawn Orbs for your allies.).

With the new year one weapons coming to year two it may be worth grabbing a couple of these and throwing them in the vault. You never know they may de-crypt into one of those weapons that you have been looking for… cough… Ice Breaker… cough!
