Run Xur, Run!
There isn’t much to say about this helmet. It provides you with a ‘free’ perk in your Striker Titan build, which if you are a big Fists of Havoc fan, can come in handy. It comes with the following choices. You get to choose from either increased Strength or Intellect, then a choice from either Ashes to Assets (Gain bonus Super energy on Grenade kills.) or Second Thoughts (Gain bonus Super energy from Special Weapon kills on minions of the Darkness.). The third tree provides us with Invigoration (Gain bonus melee energy on Orb pickup). In all honestly you are probably better of grabbing the Helmet engrams and trying your luck on getting this one, espescially if you are above 300 light, then you will role a 310 version as opposed to the 280 version that is offered.
This is one of my favorite exotics. It completely destroys yellow bar enemies in almost any situation and is crazy good during Solar Burn Nightfalls. The exotic perk is as follows, Big Game (Golden Gun fires one shot, delivering 6x damage, while granting Keyhole for over-penetration.). Then you get a choice from either increased intellect or increased strength, next tree offers a choice from Ashes to Assets (Gain bonus Super energy on Grenade kills.) or Heavy Lifting (Gain bonus Super energy from Heavy Weapon kills on minions of the Darkness.) and in the final tree we get the perk Infusion (Replenishes health each time you pick up and Orb of Light.) Once again I would suggest buying the Helmet Engram and role the dice to get a 310 version of this if you are over 300 light.
No Stormcaller build is complete without the addition of these gauntlets. The exotic perk is Lightning Rod (Unlocks the Stormcaller subclass node Landfall for free. On casting Stormtrance, fire a bolt of lightning into the ground, creating a devastating shockwave under you.) and is awesome in PVP, jump over top of a group of enemies and hit your super, you are bound to get at least one of them. Tree one gives you a choice of increased intellect or increased strength. The next tree provides you with the option of Snap Discharge (Increases melee attack speed.), one of my favorites, or Momentum Transfer (Gain bonus melee energy on grenade kills.). The final tree for this exotic gives the choice of Scout Rifle Reloader (Increases the reload speed of Scout Rifles.) or Sniper Rifle Reloader (Increases the reload speed of Sniper Rifles.). It is too bad that these are only 280, but if you don’t have them I would suggest grabbing them and then grinding some Strikes to get those blue infusion gauntlets!
Exotic Helmet Engram
Grab these to infuse your other helmets up to 310 (if you are above a 300 light level).
Exotic Legacy Engram – Primary Weapon
As one of my viewers pointed out, it is worth grabbing a few of these this week if you are still in the hunt for some of the year one primary exotics that were brought forward to year 2. For example if you are still looking for the Bad JuJu in year tow and do not have the blueprint yet, try your luck with one of these and if you get a year one Bad JuJu, you will also be awarded with the blueprints. Then for a modest 150 Legendary Marks you can own the year two version of the Bad JuJu.
