Bad news for all the Rainbow Six fans out there: Ubisoft has decided to delay the launch of the open beta which was supposed to start today, November, 25th, 2015. They are currently investigating issues with the games matchmaking time along with a disconnection on all platforms. This announcement did come directly from the developer in the Rainbow Six: Siege forums where they also said “We’re postponing the open beta until a later time and keeping the game under a closed beta status. We apologize for the delay and can assure you this is a top priority. We will keep everyone updated regularly as we continue to deploy improvements.” So there you have it folks, if you were lucky enough to receive closed beta access you can still attempt to matchmake and play the beta at this time, however the rest of us will have to wait for an update from Ubisoft. This doesn’t look good for Ubisoft as the release date of the game is set for December 1st, 2015. Stay tuned as they hope to resolve the problems in a timely manner. When the open beta arrives it will come with 14 operators, 3 maps, and 3 different game modes for you to try. As soon as there is an update we will let you know.
